Hello Again;)

Today's weather was fine..but maybe in the morning it was a little bit rainy but we still continue our daily routine at the school. Today we also started to discuss about some of the activities in this blog project. We have contribute lots and lots of ideas but we haven't get our sponsor yet. Puteri says that she will find the sponsor for us and I hope she will get it. The best thing is, we have managed to find as many crews as we can!!! It's true that the group must up to a maximum of 4 students...but hey!!! They're just helping us behind the scenes only..and they're doing it volunteerily. Thanks guys!!! Your contribution is priceless and we'll appreciate it. Speaking about the ideas, we don't want to post the activities now.We want to make it as a suprise for the viewers. Maybe in the next post because we decided to start the whole project on this Saturday and you'll see the progress on the next day or maybe next week, Insya-Allah. Haha...can't wait until this Saturday,it will be fun!!!

A Video Of Orang Utans

Taken from You Tube, this video is about the Orang Utans playing with learning toys donated by an Australian company. The coloured balls are filled with nuts and berries to help the Orang Utans learn to search for food. Enjoy!

Some welcome speech;)

Good day, everybody!!! I hope you guys in the great health. Speaking about this brand new blog that I've already set it up yesterday, it will be all about Orang Utan. I'm actually enter this kind of contest organized by TV9,BOH and WWF called New Hope for Orang Utan School Programme. This blog will contain all the ideas on ways to save and build awareness to help them.Of course I won't do it alone, there would be someone behind me plays as my team.

Locomotion Of Orangutans

Orangutans usually move by swinging from one branch to another; this is called brachiating. Orangutans can also walk using their legs (but rarely do). Orangutans do not swim.

Life Span Of Orangutans

Orangutans live about 50 years in captivity.

Their life span in the wild is only 30-45 years (like most animals, they live longer in captivity).

Population Of Orangutans

Orangutans are an endangered species. They are decreasing in numbers quickly as they lose habitat to people. If we don't protect them now, I wonder if the next generation will ever know about orangutans.

Further aggravating the problem, baby orangutans are caught and sold around the world as pets.
